Blogger to Business: Kacie with Kacie's Kloset

I've loved Kacie's blog from my very first visit.  Not only is Kacie beautiful (seriously...can the girl take a bad photo?  Maybe just once to make the rest of us feel better?)  but Kacie's Kloset is a such great inspiration for everyday style.  The girl has serious taste.

Kacie is also the owner of Daisy Rae Boutique...an online shop featuring items handpicked by Kacie herself.  Each piece is on-trend, versatile and under $50.  Yes...pretty much guilt free shopping.  I love how Kacie features many of her pieces on her blog (like the gorgeous blazer she is wearing above), showing you easy ways to style pieces.

So Kacie is here to kick-off this week's "Blogger to Business" series with a sneak-peek into her blog/business connection:

How did Daisy Rae Boutique begin?

The idea for Daisy Rae came about because I have always loved fashion and finding amazing styles at great prices. Daisy Rae is a shopping experience that people can enjoy, a place where people can find clothes that are both fashionable and affordable. That is why everything in Daisy Rae is under $50.

How has having a blog helped your business?

Kacie’s Kloset has been a huge help in driving online shoppers to my store. I think the clothes really come to life when you get to see them on somebody. It’s fun to show different ways I style my Daisy Rae items, and it gets people excited to have those items in their closet too. Kacie’s Kloset, as well as other blogs I sponsor, has played a huge role in gaining exposure for my store.

What accomplishment are you most proud of since launching Daisy Rae Boutique?

Every time I get an order I’m proud that someone likes the clothes I picked to carry in my store. And when I get a returning customer, I’m even more proud that they like the quality of the clothes and my customer service enough to come back for more.

What advice would you give to women looking to embark on their own business venture?

Find something you are passionate about, work hard, and don’t give up. It’s going to be difficult at times, there will be ups and downs along the way, there will be people who doubt you and there will be times that you will doubt yourself and worry if all your hard work is going to pay off. Never let that stop you.
